sleep well.
feel good.

Somnia is a personalised service designed to enrich your life by helping you sleep well.

My name is Dr. Kat Lederle. I’m a sleep science and therapy expert. Through Somnia I provide individually tailored online sleep coaching for anyone struggling to get a good night’s rest.

If you’re having a hard time falling asleep, or staying asleep at night, then you may also feel like you’re missing out on what’s happening during the day. Through Somnia, I can help you get the most out of your daytime life by working through those tough nights.

Remember how deeply and well you slept as a child? I can’t make you young again, but I believe that together we can get some of that calm feeling back.”

Dr. Kat

No two people face the exact same sleep problems.

Difficult sleep can arise for many reasons. I will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to recognise and work through the root causes of your sleep issues. I use a behavioural approach informed by the latest research. Instead of focusing on “don’ts” or instilling harsh and controlling rules, we’ll work together to craft a Personalised Sleep Plan to meet your specific needs.

If you’re willing to put the work in, it often only takes 2-3 hours to set you on the path to better sleep habits. We’ll meet on video chat across three sessions, and work together to develop the skills you need to get the rest you need.

Sleep Sense

Using my academic knowledge and experience as a sleep practitioner, I decided to write a book taking the reader through the science of sleep and why it is important for every single one of us, irrespective whether you are a short or long sleeper. My aim is to empower you, the reader, to take steps that are right for you to sleep well.

What Somnia is sharing

Lying awake feeling alone and frustrated with how sleep continues to escape you... sound familiar? You're not alone in feeling like this and loneliness and isolation can actually impact your sleep, creating an unpleasant cycle, but not an impossible one to break. You can see what I mean above, and to understand this further, I have shared an article on the Somnia site focusing on the relationship between poor sleep and loneliness and isolation. #sleep #sleeptherapy #sleepwell #sleeptips #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #socialconnections #socialisolation #loneliness #lonelinessandisolation #lonelinessandmentalhealth ...
