Somnia is working with students and teachers from School 21’s sixth form on a project exploring the impact of sleep deprivation on students’ performance at school and on their general wellbeing.

The students have learned about human-centred design, an approach to creating solutions for problems through a focus on the needs, contexts, behaviours, and emotions of the people that the solutions are for.

They take what they learn and apply it by researching what sleep is and what inhibits or promotes good sleep, including electronic devices.
